A Brittany’s zest for life means they require regular exercise to keep them happy and healthy. Daily walks, play sessions, or fetching games will satisfy their energetic disposition and strengthen your bond. Though they can adapt to apartment living, they are not the best fit for smaller spaces unless you are committed to providing sufficient physical activity to meet their needs.
Grooming a Brittany is manageable, as they only need attention about once a month to keep their fur in great condition. Moderate shedders, you can expect some fur around the house, but regular brushing will help minimize this. Their intelligence and eagerness to please make them relatively easy to train, responding well to positive reinforcement techniques. With their charming personalities, they make a great addition to any home, bringing love and laughter to your family in Petland Iowa City, Iowa or beyond.
